Small Planet Airlines joins Airbus Skywise predictive maintenance services
Leisure charter carrier Small Planet Airline has joined Airbus Skywise Predictive Maintenance services which will help maximise aircraft availability thanks to state-of-the-art predictive maintenance. This brings the total number of aircraft to be connected to Skywise to over 2 000.

According to Airbus, Skywise Predictive Maintenance module can be used to gain deeper insights, create bespoke recommendations and apply state-of-the-art analytics applications for enhanced decision-making. In turn, this allows to anticipate, with higher levels of accuracy, the needs for aircraft maintenance before an event actually happens. This tool will enable Small Planet Airlines to maximise operational reliability and fleet utilization.

Small Planet Airlines will fly 240 routes from 15 European bases in Summer 2018. The airline’s European fleet will grow to 28 aircraft – 20 Airbus A320s and 8 Airbus A321s. The number of passengers carried reached 2.7 million in 2017.
