Small Planet Airlines Germany celebrates its one-millionth passenger
On January 16th, 2018, the punctual departure of a Small Planet Airlines flight from Paderborn-Lippstadt Airport to Hurghada marked a milestone for the young charter carrier.
On board the flight, which was flown on behalf of TUI Germany, the crew was happy to welcome their one-millionth passenger.

„We are proud about the positive development of Small Planet Airlines Germany. Our concept and offering has been well received in the market since its launch in May 2016, and we hope to further improve our services with the launch of our web check-in system”, says Oliver Pawel, Chief Commercial Officer of Small Planet Airlines Germany.
According to Mr. Pawel, in the Summer of 2018 the airline will grow its fleet to a total of 10 Airbus aircraft - 2 Airbus A321s and 8 Airbus A320s. "I am sure that our value-offering will lead to further growth of our German fleet in the near future".

From Summer 2018 onwards, Small Planet Airlines' flights will be available all across Germany with bases in Düsseldorf, Hamburg, Hannover, Köln, Leipzig and Paderborn, as well as operations in Amsterdam and Hurghada.
