Airbus A320 and A321

We have 29 aircraft in our fleet

21 Airbus A320 aircraft

The A320 is Airbus best-selling single-aisle aircraft, which continues to set industry standards for comfort and operational economy on short to medium-haul routes.

The A320’s advanced technology includes the extensive use of weight-saving composites, lower maintenance costs, along with Airbus’ fly-by-wire flight controls. The A320’s right-sized fuselage is seven inches wider than its competitors, enhancing comfort for passengers.

Small Planet Airlines’ A320 capacity – 180 passengers.
  • Average speed - 840 km/h
  • Average altitude - 11 800 meters (At this altitude visibility can be as good as 375 km in daylight while the sun shines always! If the aircraft climbed another 90 km in altitude, you could officially call yourself an astronaut!)
  • Average range - up to 6000 km for one flight

8 Airbus A321 aircraft

The A321 is the largest single-aisle member of A320 Family. Passenger comfort, the capability of flying longer routes – even the transatlantic ones – as well as  the best seat-mile cost makes A321 one of the most attractive aircraft models.

The passengers benefit from the A321’s state-of-the-art cabin design because of enhanced comfort, a markedly wider aisle for faster boarding, and easier cabin movement, and even a hybrid layout. Unique Airbus technologies allow for the A321 to offer the lowest fuel burn, emissions and noise footprint in its class.

Small Planet Airlines’ A321 capacity – 220 passengers.
  • Average speed - 828 km/h
  • Average altitude - 11 800 meters (At this altitude visibility can be as good as 375 km in daylight while the sun shines always! If the aircraft climbed another 90 km in altitude, you could officially call yourself an astronaut!)
  • Average range - up to 7400 km for one flight

Each aircraft meets all European Union flight safety requirements

Every airline operating within the European Union and seeking  to be authorized to carry passengers must comply with EASA European Commission Regulation (EU) No. 965/2012 regarding air carrier service as well as have the Certificate of Airworthiness, which is in line with Part M in European Commission’s Regulation (EU) No. 1321/2014, so Small Planet Airlines is no exception. Each and every company's aircraft is and must be maintained in accordance with an aircraft maintenance program, provided by the aircraft manufacturer.  The aircraft can be a subject  of maintenance only to the technical maintenance company, certified by European standards (European Commission Regulation (EU) No. 1321/2014, 145). The company's procedures and the verification of its implementation are regulated and described both by (EU) No. 965/2012 and by (EU) No. 1321/2014, Part M regulations.

In 2016, we have retrofitted all of our Airbus aircraft

To make the flights even better we have updated the cabin in all of our Airbus aircraft: new Recaro seats, modern LED lighting and wireless AirFi network were installed. This is the biggest investment in the company’s history so far.
Ultra-thin leather Recaro seats are attractive,  comfortable and pleasant to sit in, and provide more space for the legs.

15 degrees horizontally inclined, the seats adapt to the shape of the body and provide a  comfortable position for rest.
40% lighter than conventional aircraft seats, Recaro seats help to reduce carbon dioxide emissions and improve the quality of the flight.

Recaro engineers managed to lower the seat weight and make the distance between the seats wider due to ergonomic technological solutions, in particular, innovative net material, replacing the previously used foam.
With the cabin update, we have also introduced Premium class seating in order to meet every passengers' needs. Premium service includes extra comfort offers at the airport, exclusive meals during the flight and extra legroom.
We believe that every flight with Small Planet Airlines has to be something to remember, that is why we aimed to create a relaxing and colourful atmosphere to start the holidays onboard.
Every aircraft in our fleet now has modern LED lighting installed. This type of lighting is “greener” and changes colour and intensity during the different phases of flight. It’s also 33% lighter and uses 33% less energy per flight. LED lights contain no toxic materials and are 100% recyclable.
Sit back, relax and join our wireless Air-Fi network with your smart device onboard of every flight! We took care to fill the network with entertainment for every taste.
Explore new tastes and quench your thirst by ordering food and beverages from our in-flight menu. You can find it in the pocket of your seat. You can also pre-order your meal from our special menu during online check-in or by contacting your tour operator.
